Workshops & Courses

I’ve built significant experience as a learning designer, teacher and facilitator:  from running workshops and short courses through to co-creating entire learning programs from scratch.

I’ve discovered I have a knack for making complex topics simple, and coupling that with an insatiable curiosity and passion for learning has led me to teach sessions on a diverse range of topics from blockchain to sustainability, and storytelling to data science.

Let me know if you’d like to chat about doing something together.

Workshop Design & Facilitation

During Summer 2018 I worked with New York City Small Business Services, Hyper Island, 3×3 Design and Cantora on the pilot AMP NYC program for media & entertainment entrepreneurs. Here’s a photo from our industry showcase day at the end of the program (photo: Antoine Braxton). Memories 🙂

Sustainable Foundations

My brother Murray and I run Sustainable Foundations – a series of fast-moving, interactive and practical sustainability workshops for modern business. We demystify the core concepts of sustainability, with a focus on innovation, growth and value creation.

The sessions range from half a day to a full 2 day bootcamp, and we also have a free email course you can jump straight into as well.

Over the past 3 years I’ve done extensive workshop facilitation across the US, UK and Europe with leading digital education company Decoded. Ranging from classes on AI, storytelling and cybersecurity to digital product accelerator programs, we’ve delivered sessions for management, director and board level executives at organizations including:

speaking clients

Mentoring roles with organisations including Techstars, Founders Institute, Escape the City, Build NYC and IntoUniversity.

Here are a few nice things people have said about the work I’ve done with them.

“Howard is a really creative thinker and a fascinating orator. When University of Westminster needed an expert to talk on the Future of the Music Business we engaged Howard. His lecture and abundant notes really stimulated the large group of Masters level Music Business Management mature students. Howard is great!”

“It was a pleasure working with Howard at the V&A where him and his team delivered 10 workshops over 5 days. In the planning stage they were responsive and professional, and during the week the team of facilitators were fantastic.

I would highly recommend them in the future!”
