Smart / Casual

Risk / Safety

Self / Others

This / That

These things aren’t always at odds.

Some are opposites, but a lot are just adjacent.

Balancing and maintaining both is possible, if you really want to find a way to do so.

It’s just hard.

The funny thing is that sitting in the middle ground between the two is often not the way to go. 

That’s the trap.
