A porcupine falls through a shower ceiling onto an engineer.

There's raw chicken. Power outages. A hundred people stranded overnight on an island with no runway lights.

It reads like an episode of Silicon Valley. It isn't. This happened to a company called Plex, in 2017.

And somehow it bonded their team for years.

This is not how I design offsites. But I kind of love it.
