Two ways to get this by email. They are very different, so here is the honest version.
Groove Theory
Fortnightly. Twenty-six emails a year.
An anthology of people who found their groove - DJs, directors, game designers, restaurant founders. Every edition names a tension you already sense but have not articulated yet. Thirty-three editions so far.
This is the one most people want. If you are not sure, pick this.
Everything
Every post, as it goes up. Roughly one email every two or three days.
Not a curated selection. The lot - essays, half-thoughts, things I could not let go of that week. There are 732 posts in the archive and I add to it most weeks.
Some people want this. Most people do not, and that is the right instinct. Take it only if you actively want the firehose.

A few things worth knowing
- You can read everything without subscribing. The archive is open, no signup, no paywall. Email is a convenience, not a gate.
- You can take both, though there is not much point - Groove Theory goes out to the everything list too.
- Unsubscribe is one click, at the bottom of every email, and I would rather you did that than let it pile up unread.
- Nothing is sold or shared. No tracking beyond whether the email was opened, which is how I know whether any of this is landing.
The choice appears when you sign up. If you miss it, the “manage preferences” link at the bottom of any email gets you back to it.
